The pulse wave generator creates a periodically recurring pressure wave, expanding with a reach of up to 600 metres given good conditions, which can then be perceived acoustically above the line via LD6000 and a connected ground microphone.

For this purpose the LD6000 is equipped with a special pulse mode, where the volume and frequency of the pulse are optimally represented.

Therefore, non-metallic water pipes can be detected precisely even to a depth of two metres without the need of shutting down.

This way, piping diagrams can quickly and safely be created, complemented and checked.
