Flexible wind and privacy shield for more atmosphere

Good-looking, light and quickly erected – mobile walls protect your guests

The Trotec Group has an adequate mobile solution for caterers, event managers and hoteliers to provide sheltered seating accommodation for their guests: With VarioScreen Business there are mobile wind shields and screen fences available that can be erected in next to no time and strung together ad infinitum.

Whether for a concert for strings, beer gardens or private functions: When wishing to screen off areas for groups of guests, many organizers still turn to mobile wooden or plastic walls. But these have a number of disadvantages: They are bulky, heavy and take up lots of storage space. By way of contrast, the mobile VarioScreen lightweight walls of the Trotec Group consist of quick-to-assemble fibre glass rods and extremely durable polyester cloth. They can be put up by one person in a matter of seconds and collapsed again just as quickly after use to be stored away in a carry bag with minimum space requirements.

Plain, transparent or bearing a logo: Individual designs create an atmosphere

Originally these screen fences stem from the fields of visual cover required for assembly work or at the scene of an accident and back in the day had a rather functional design. For business applications we now have individual custom-built models available that help to create a certain ambience: In particular, the mobile walls can be purpose-built as mere transparent windbreak or partly transparent with vision panel. And of course coloured all-over as typical wind and privacy shield in any colour desired and with logo print.

Put up in a semicircle, a zigzag line or corners: VarioScreen Business falls in line

The mobile VarioScreen Business wall is extremely capable of adapting when it comes to screening off areas for guests: A VarioScreen is made up of 4 panels of the size 180 x 180 cm – thus shielding a stretch of roughly 7 metres with 3 hinge points. It can be put up in a semicircle, a zigzag line or as conventional corner. If larger areas are to be screened off, the individual wind shields and screen fences can be strung together using stable zip fasteners: to a length of 14 metres, 21 metres, 28 metres – this could basically go on forever. Available as accessories are metal rods with base for stabilization as well as a tent peg and rope set for additional fastening.

  • Evacuation exercises on passenger ships

Even if passenger ships are supposed to be an extremely secure means of transport, the preparation for an emergency must be taken seriously. International regulations drafted under the auspices of the United Nations require that sea crews must be trained for the case of an evacuation as part of the safety precautions. To practice for an emergency under realistic conditions, fog machines are used....

  • Evacuation exercises in airplanes

Even if commercial aircrafts are manufactured in line with the latest standards nowadays, they are not immune to technical problems. In case of an incident, the on-flight crew must know exactly what to do to protect the passengers and themselves. The personnel is trained for such emergencies during special exercises. This includes evacuating passengers from a smoky aircraft in case of fire. A fog...

  • Evacuation exercises in trains

Whether a faulty air conditioning system, a damaged engine or a burning waste bin: usually, the cause for smoke development on a train is only identified after completion of the fire-fighting operation. Before that, it is important for the on-board staff to keep calm and evacuate the passengers. The personnel is prepared for the worst case during fire exercises. During such an exercise, the fog...

  • Storage tents/marquees

As opposed to conventional warehouses, marquees and large storage tents are erected quickly and at low cost. The only challenges in the face of buildings – even with insulated marquees – are condensation and humidity control. Stationary high-performance dryers with hose systems for a consistent supply of dry air prevent moisture problems in advance.

  • Visitor flow control at major events

Very often, metal barriers are used for closing off areas for visitors at major events and for marking routes. However, they are not required as long as they only serve for visual guidance. The Trotec Group has mobile solutions for visual covers on offer which are light and space-saving and can be unfolded within seconds: VarioScreens.
