Oil heater fan IDE 20 D
Flexible all-rounder for a wide range of heating applications: The ultra-mobile oil heater fan IDE 20 D
The directly fired oil heater fan IDE 20 D is a cost-effective solution with sound technology for many typical standard heating tasks with direct, on-site warmth.
Owing to its durable housing made of doubly coated material, this oil heater fan is optimally prepared for outdoor heating applications and thanks to an integrated thermostat, it can be used fully automatically for heating and drying constructions sites, in agricultural sectors or well-ventilated storage facilities.
The filling level of the integrated fuel tank of the IDE 20 D can be checked anytime via the standard liquid level indication.
Another optionally available accessory is an external thermostat, which can measure the temperature of places situated up to 25 metres away from the oil heater fan.
IDE direct oil heaters – 100 % heating power for outdoor areas
The direct oil heaters of the IDE series are optimally suited for outdoor use, e.g. for heating outdoor construction sites and agricultural areas, or for use inside well-ventilated interior spaces, for they emit 100 % of the heat they produce. Hence, direct heaters also have no chimney. Or in other words, this process yields a heating power efficiency of 100 %.
In a directly heated system the fan blowing out the heated air also brings along combustion air.
First, fuel is atomised, ignited and burned in the combustion chamber. Then the hot gases are admixed to the main air current of the fan in accurate proportions.
In addition to heat, direct heaters thus also emit combustion gases directly into the room. For this reason, they are unsuitable for poorly ventilated, closed rooms used by people or animals.
Since plenty of moisture is released during combustion, direct heaters should never be used for construction drying.
VIDEOS: Trotec oil heater blowers live in action
In our Youtube playlist we have compiled exciting projects that users have realised with Trotec oil heater blowers. The application possibilities are manifold and the tinkerers have implemented their personal vision of a warm working environment with a lot of ingenuity and commitment. Very inspiring!
Simple operation
The operating elements of the IDE 20 D are well-arranged centrally on one side of the device. As a result you can always access the operating switch, the analogue thermostat and the connection for an external thermostat.
At the rear of the device, the filler neck of the integrated fuel tank is easily accessible and its fill level can be read at any time via the integrated filling level indicator next to it.
A few practical benefits:
- Particularly economic solution for standard oil heating
- Integrated fuel tank with filling level indication
- Electronic flame trap
- Overheating protection
- Stainless steel combustion chamber
- Integrated thermostat
- Connection for external thermostat
