Capacity calculation for Humidifiers

Calculate approximately the required humidification capacity for your rooms

Instructions for use:

You can use the following method to quickly and easily determine the humidificaiton performance required for your rooms. This capacity calculation should be seen as an estimate to serve as a rough guide - it is not a substitute for an exact calculation in accordance with existing norms. It is only valid within the specified limits. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

The following items must be included in order to be able to determine the required humidification performance:

  • What is the relative humidity of the ambient air?
  • What is the volume of the room to be humidified?

In order to ascertain the relative humidity please enter the air temperature and then the relative humidity. You will automatically be presented with the results when changing entry boxes.

In addition, you may either calculate the room volume or enter it directly.

The required humidification performance and the room volume are calculated by clicking on "Calculate".
