A high quality of the cut and a quick working progress are dependent on the specific material, the tooth geometry, the tooth pitch as well as the width and thickness of the saw blade.

Material: Our metal saw blades are made entirely of fully hardened high speed steel, permitting the quick and precise cutting up even of harder materials.

Tooth pitch: The pitch indicates the spacing between two tooth tips. The softer the material, the better suited is wider pitch, because more chips are formed that need to be removed through the gullets. If the pitch is insufficient, the discharge can become clogged and the saw might get jammed. A progressive tooth spacing – narrow spacing near the shank and progressively larger spacing towards the tip – further ensures a quicker sawing progress and vibration-damped working. Blade width: The width of the saw blade influences the cut. Thicker blades are better for straight cuts, thinner ones facilitate curved cuts. Blade thickness: The thickness determines the blade’s edge holding ability and equal angle for straight cuts.
