With its timeless and elegant chic, this dehumidifier harmoniously integrates in any living and working environment. But the TTK 71 E is not only an eyecatcher in appearance, its technical qualities are equally impressive:

State-of-the-art dehumidification technology with electronic hygrostat control and automatic defrost, flexible two-stage fan, timer function and digital display with real-value humidity selection ensures an effective, energy-saving dry keeping of living and office spaces or heated basements in fully automatic dehumidification operation.

The slip-resistant rubber feet of the TTK 71 E provide more than just stable positioning, they also reduce additional vibration-related operating noise to ensure agreeably silent dehumidification in your rooms.

Effective and simple

Needless to say, the device also comes with a function for hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification. First, a fixed humidity value is selected by means of the target value preselection function. The setting range is between a relative humidity level of 30 % and 80 % in increments of 10 %. When this value is exceeded, the dehumidifier automatically switches itself on and then off again to save energy as soon as the desired target value has been reached.

Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers

Apart from ambient air dehumidification, a dehumidifier can be conveniently used for drying laundry – either in an assisting way or as a full replacement for a conventional dryer. The laundry drying function (also referred to as clothes drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outside.

Dehumidifiers offer the benefit of drying the laundry as gently as in the nature outside. Colours retain their brilliance and the life span of clothes is longer than with conventional dryers – and all this with a substantially lower power consumption.

Furthermore, even sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibres can be dried without any problems. In contrast to pure air drying, the laundry feels much softer and more pleasant on your skin.

Laundry drying can also be performed with dehumidifiers without an additional laundry drying function. The target value of the air humidity must then be set in accordance with the desired residual humidity:

Cupboard dry: 46 % of relative air humidity

Iron dry: 58 % of relative air humidity

Skin dry: 65 % of relative air humidity

Propane (R290) as environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers

Every year, several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO₂emissions (greenhouse gases) are emitted into the air by synthetic refrigerants. For this reason, the utilization of alternative refrigerants has become one of our key objectives. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to protecting our climate.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound belonging to the group of hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants the environmentally friendly propane (R290) comes with neither ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) nor a noteworthy greenhouse effect (GWP = 3).

Additional bonus for the environment: Owing to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant thereby additionally reducing your energy costs.

Convenient dehumidification

Naturally, the TTK 71 E can also be used where a regular manual draining of the water tank is not always possible, e.g. during unattended permanent drying applications in heated hobby rooms. For this purpose, a separate connection is integrated in the TTK 71 E via which the condensate can be discharged directly into a drain using a hose.

Ideal distribution of the room air by variably adjustable discharge direction

The powerful dehumidifier TTK 71 E produces an air volume of up to 180 m³ per hour.

The air circulation can be optimally adjusted for any type of room by means of 2 fan stages and the manually adjustable air discharge direction.

TTK 71 E – special equipment features

TTK 71 E air filter — The easily removable air filter retains lint and animal hair and can be quickly and easily wiped or washed out.

TTK 71 E water tank — The removable water tank has a storage capacity of 2.3 litres. The device stops automatically when the tank is full and indicates this via LED.

TTK 71 E rear view — In order to continuously drain the condensation water, a pipe can be connected on the rear of the device.

TTK 71 E comfort function — When the desired humidity level is reached, the compressor switches off automatically. The fan keeps running while the display remains switched on. When the value is exceeded, the device is automatically activated.

TTK 71 E timer function — Use the practical timer function to switch the device on or off after a defined number of hours. The time can be programmed in increments of 1 hour (0 to 12 h). The use of the timer prevents unnecessary operating periods and allows you to adapt the dehumidification to your individual rhythm of life.

TTK 71 E - laundry drying function — The TTK 71 E may also be used as a room air laundry dryer to dry wet laundry in living spaces or utility rooms. In this way, you speed up the drying process of the clothes and prevent the humidity contained on the clothes from condensing in the room and from becoming a hotbed for mould.

TTK 71 E – permanent mode — In the permanent mode, the TTK 71 E dehumidifies the room air in continuous operation. This is especially suitable for cellar or storage spaces which are subjected to mould formation by excess humidity. To avoid that you constantly have to drain the water tank, a condensate drain hose can be connected.

TTK 71 E – at home — Whether at home, in the office or in the bedroom – with its silent automatic dehumidification with hygrostat control, the display of the relative humidity level and its laundry drying and timer function, the dehumidifier TTK 71 E provides for a perfect indoor climate at all times.

TTK 71 E – in the office — In order to prevent the formation of unwelcome mould that is dangerous to your health in offices, hobby rooms or on cool corners and walls exposed to dampness in the first place, we recommend to use a dehumidifier continuously in due time.
