Multi-function tools of the PMTS series
Multi-function tools are virtually regarded as electrified Swiss army knives for ambitious do-it-yourselfers. Whether for milling, sawing, cutting, rasping or grinding – the idea of using one tool instead of several ones catches on. While you could only choose between either good and expensive or mainly cheap so far, Trotec now offers the smart alternative – the multi-function tools of the PMTS series, the cordless PMTS 10-12V and the corded PMTS 10-230V.
With the multi-function tools of the PMTS series, even professional handymen are perfectly equipped for the most varied projects: whether for sawing laminate to size, milling out tile joints, removing mortar residues or grinding off various surfaces – the tools are an indispensable aid also for major works at home.
Cordless multi-function tool PMTS 10-12V –
the flexible all-rounder.
Get started anywhere immediately at full power – that is the slogan of this multi-function tool. Due to its cordless operation, it can be used for working effortlessly even at poorly accessible locations. Thanks to the integrated LED lamp, the workpiece always remains fully illuminated, even if there is no space for a work lamp. The powerful motor of the PMTS 10-12V starts completely jolt-free thanks to the integrated soft start and is supplied via an exchangeable 12 V battery having no memory effect and no self-discharge thanks to lithium-ion technology. With the supplied quick charger, the battery can be fully charged within less than an hour. A three-stage illuminated indicator on the tool informs you of the current battery status.
Multi-function tool PMTS 10-230V –
the powerful all-rounder.
Plug in and get started: This power pack can best be used for starting projects with longer operating times during which you do not want to consider the battery status. Therefore, the PMTS 10-230V is particularly suited for time-consuming renovation work. Furthermore, its AC power allows you to process various materials such as wood, metal, plastic or ceramic effortlessly with a fast work progress. The soft start of the PMTS 10-230V integrated as standard ensures a jolt-free start-up of its powerful 300 W motor. Once switched on, it oscillates reliably up to 21,000 times per minute – infinitely variable at all times for an ideal adaptation to the respective material and corresponding application.
Every detail has been considered
The easy-to-hold multi-function tools lie very well in the hand and thus ensure focussed and fatigue-free usage even during longer operating times. For during the construction of the tools, we paid particular attention to an ergonomic design: The central soft grip inlay offers optimum hold and the clever arrangement of switches enables flexible one-handed operation with an infinitely variable oscillation rate adjustment. Moreover, the large oscillation angle of 3.2 degrees guarantees precise working even at corners and edges.
Using the quick-release system you can exchange all accessories conveniently fast. Simply pull the locking lever, exchange the respective accessory without tools and variably position it in one of the 12 possible working directions. The precisely manufactured accessory holder on the one hand guarantees an optimum tight fit with any accessory selected. On the other hand, it is also compatible with all accessories complying with the OIS standard. This allows you to benefit from maximum flexibility when selecting an accessory.
The multi-function tools of the PMTS series have all you need – all in one
Both tools are delivered by Trotec as a complete package with an extensive range of accessories and a convenient carry case. It includes a delta sanding plate with 18 sandpapers for wood and metal, special plunge cut saw blades for wood, metal and plasterboard, a segment saw blade and a scraping knife: all of this is already included in the standard scope of delivery and supplied in a carry case – just like the quick charger, anti-vibration handle and convenient dust extraction system.

Using the multi-function tools of the PMTS series, you are always on the same side in every respect: Both multi-function tools were tested by the German Association for Technical Inspection (TÜV) and therefore guarantees a high level of quality, safety and functionality.
